LONGVIEW IS
Luke Logemann
Director
Luke has spent nearly two decades in the music industry, working across festivals, touring, artist management, record labels, and merch. He’s been on the frontline of big ideas and small details, helping shape how music gets made, shared, and experienced.

In recent years, he’s turned his focus to sustainability, delivering industry-wide programs with Green Music Australia and working directly with festivals and venues to cut emissions, reduce waste, and make real change happen. He launched Longview to bring data, strategy, and practical solutions to an industry that’s ready to do better—but needs the right tools to get there.

Luke is a problem-solver at heart, balancing big-picture thinking with a non-judgmental, step-by-step approach. He knows the music industry inside out and believes sustainability doesn’t have to be complicated—it just has to be done right.
Projects

Established in 2018, Good Things Festival has rapidly become Australia's premier rock event, held annually in December across Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. Featuring a powerhouse lineup of local and international artists, the festival celebrates rock in all its forms—from heavy metal and punk to alternative and hard rock.

In 2024, promoter Destroy All Lines partnered with Longview to assess and mitigate the festival's environmental footprint, with an initial focus on energy consumption and waste management. This collaboration marks the beginning of Good Things Festival’s sustainability journey, laying the groundwork for future environmental initiatives.

Since its inception in 2014, Beyond The Valley has evolved into one of Australia’s most highly regarded camping festivals, blending premium experiences with world-class music. Taking place from December 28 to January 1 in regional Victoria, the festival is known for its immersive stage designs, high-end amenities, and strong community ethos. In 2024, Untitled Group and Green Music Australia partnered with Longview to conduct an onsite and behind-the-scenes sustainability audit, supporting the festival's ongoing commitment to reducing its environmental impact.

Green Music Australia is the peak body for music sustainability, dedicated to providing artists and industry with resources, tools, and support for over a decade.

In 2025, GMA engaged Longview to lead its Green Venue Program, a pilot initiative in New South Wales aimed at helping venues reduce their environmental impact. As part of the program, Longview will conduct sustainability audits and workshops across six premier music venues—including Metro Theatre, Lansdowne Hotel, King Street Bandroom, La La Las, Drifters Wharf, and Brunswick Picture House. With the success of this pilot, the program is set to expand nationally by the end of 2025.

Jungle is one of Australia’s leading merchandise companies, providing manufacturing services for tours at every level—from club shows to arenas and stadiums. Their online store, Merch Jungle, offers exclusive merch and vinyl records directly to fans.

In 2023, Jungle was certified as a B-Corp, meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. With access to a wide range of organic and recycled clothing garments, Jungle is committed to making music merchandise more sustainable. As their sustainability partner, Longview supports Jungle in developing and implementing innovative strategies to reduce the environmental impact of merch.

Held at the picturesque Doug Jennings Park on the Gold Coast, Promiseland Festival is a vibrant celebration of music, art, and culture. The boutique festival embraces community and creativity, featuring a diverse array of genres, including Afrobeats, Amapiano, Reggae, and R&B. In 2024, the festival's delivery partner, Handshake Events, contracted Longview to measure its environmental impact and develop strategies to integrate sustainable practices into its operations, reinforcing its dedication to environmental stewardship.

Process

Data Driven

At Longview, data is at the heart of every decision. By analysing your numbers, we tell the story of your environmental impact in a way that is easy to understand. Using Amidesi, a platform for securely processing and storing data, we produce detailed reports covering emissions, waste, and other environmental metrics.

Amidesi also aggregates data from similar events and businesses, allowing us to provide valuable comparisons to industry averages. Longview ensures your business is set up to seamlessly capture the necessary data for accurate and insightful reporting.

Snapview

The first step toward sustainable operations is understanding your current impact. We start with conversations with key members of your team and compile your data into Amidesi. Following this, an onsite visit provides additional insights into your operations.

The result is a Snapview Audit—a comprehensive report that outlines your current performance, identifies areas for improvement, and recommends actionable steps to enhance your environmental sustainability. We’ll also help you establish benchmarks and design a roadmap to achieve your goals.

Managing Change

Sustainability is an ongoing process, and Longview is here to guide you every step of the way. Change doesn’t happen overnight, but with clear goal-setting and a structured roadmap, meaningful progress is within reach.

Longview supports you in implementing and tracking changes over time. From operational rollouts to funding strategies and effective communication, we’ll work alongside you to manage these transitions through a multi-year approach that aligns with your business growth.
